OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY
OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY
Redbirds setting on a limb
Little baby ducks learning how to swim
Green willow tree branches touching the water
Over the hill comes sounds of laughter
Off in the distance you can hear farmers putting up hay
Oh my goodness what a beautiful day
Here comes Sam running, he's our beloved Collie,
jumps up and down then rolls on the ground
Grasshoppers and honeybees are all around,
working hard to provide food for their brood
Daisy's and dandy lions are gowning fast,
wild onions you smell as your mowing the grass
Oh my goodness what a beautiful day
This wonderful day is coming to an end
You can feel the coolness in the sun's rays
As the sun sinks the redbird flies home,
and mama takes her baby ducks lined all in a row
It's quiet now, just crickets and frogs
It's the end of a beautiful day
