 SCRAPBOOK

Many precious keepsakes were lost
in my life's firey times of trial.
As I asked around and searched,
       treasures turned up worthwhile.

Now displayed with much time and care,
are my loving little babes in arm,
To the good times and favorite places,
like when living on the farm.

From newborn, to now and time to come,
I pray these milestones keep growing.
For our relationship's sake, I hope the
embers of love keep on glowing.

The first time we looked at it together,
        I hadn't seen them for a while.
With anticipation, each page that was turned,
       brought a genuine heartfelt smile.

Fondly, we look on these moments,
       these frozen moments so dear.
"Scrap" can never define what we see
       on these pages so clear!
