 LITTLE LUCINDA

She came before it was her time.
        She only stayed with me for a day.
She watched me as she slipped away.
        She had beautiful big  blue eyes.
She clung for life with her tiny fingers clenched.
        She knew how our hearts wrenched.
With only one tear, she fluttered away.
