 Remember the time
It's those little things we miss so much,
Those things and people of our past that we will never again touch.
Like the times I watched in awe,
At Christmas holding my new babydoll.
Like the time when I became a teen,
My childhood and My adulthood I was in between.
Those wonder years,
Brought laughter and tears.
Then suddenly I was out on my own,
Conquering life the way I'd been shown.
My boyfriends first kiss,
I never knew I would miss.
The first smile on my baby's face,
I remember the time I remember the place.
Special memories tucked away in my heart,
I see now where I got my start.
Looking back and learning from the past,
Will make a brighter future that will last.
