 Far And Gone
The little girl that you've come to know
Is no longer in my soul
She didn't die
She didn't runaway
She is gone
Left to stray
So many laughed at her
So many called her names
No one ever telling her it will be okay
She hung her head in dread
Full of shame
Screaming the only way
To let out all the pain

Now I walk
In no direction
Trying to find the little girl
Who thought herself imperfection
Every dawn and every night
I search for her with all my might
Still I don't hear nor see
Where she could be
All that I know is
She is out in the cold
Thinking that life is about being alone
Now I look for the lost dawn
But all I see are shadows
Some far and some gone
