 ROVING EYES
I was taken by surprise
by a set of roving eyes
In no particular terms
it was everywhere I turned
I returned with a smile
and all the while
Did not feel as just a glance
not by happenstance
It made my heart swell
maybe I was under a spell
And perchance I was not
The feeling couldn't be bought
