SLEEPING DOGS

SLEEPING DOGS

Nothing from the past can you untie
So I say let sleeping dogs lie,
No good stirring up a hornets nest
Some things are better left to rest.

No good will come of this at all
There`s things that you should not recall,
The pain will return just as before
And this is something you won`t ignore.

Old wounds will be opened up once more
And they will smart just as before,
Just ask yourself `why cause this pain?`
After all what is there to gain?

So leave the past where it belongs
You can`t undo any of the wrongs,
May I suggest you don`t even try
Take my advice let sleeping dogs lie.
