 Kill Your Own Dreams
We accuse the innocent
We accuse the guilty
We lock up souls
Without looking into them deeply
When someone kills
We all call them monsters
Say they'll burn hell
With the heart of impostors

It's rare if anyone sees
A killer in them self
When you broke a heart
Or filled someone with doubt
For you killed those dreams
That tried to thrive
And then you turn your back
As they grew small and died

So say you have the kindest heart
And you would never try to part
From the path of an angelic saint
If only you saw the black paint
That marks on your barriers
From the outlines
You see it doesn't touch you
But soon it will find
That dream you've been chasing for so long
And have the shadow tell you
"You're all wrong"

As you walk the streets at night
Thinking everything is alright
Just know as you go to sleep
You're a natural killer
Killing your own dream
