 FORSAKEN

Left in the downpour forsaken,
at first she thought she was mistaken.
The world moves faster than she goes.
Nobody noticed as she cried out.
For life it seemed left lots of doubt.
To her it seemed graven that she
She wasn't noticeably pretty, although
Her heart was letting the fire go out.
