 SUMMER'S SWAY
The times I think about summer
are those when crickets
Make their distinct sounds.
Sitting on the porch swing.
Cooling breeze wanders in anew
as a surprise to enjoy.
Blowing the willow tree afair
as new mown hay wafts.
Swinging the children around,
as happily they sing to
Summer sounds they do hear.
The grateful robins pronounce.
