 STAINED GLASS
Crafted colored panes delight.
The beauty to behold with light.
Leaded seams dull and aged.
Portraits on a Biblical stage.
After standing in utter awe,
the life it brings I saw.
Wondering how the Artist felt was
something I pondered from afar.
Lingering poised to do decree
That etched details I did see.
Alas, I tore myself from the piece,
wanting to stay looking at ease.
