 FINE STITCHES
Sylvia's talent surely was there.
She would make fine stitchery.
With much, very much loving care.
The crocheted and quilted.
Her quilts so very lovely,
fascinating to lay eyes on.
It was a tradition in the family,
to make much out of nothing.
The stitches, in one way or style
or making fine linen from flax.
All the passion of things worthwhile
broke away and did make fancy.
