WITHOUT REMORSE
Haphazzardly the feelings chant.
Words of things unrecant.
Nothing could make it more clear.
Unforgetting words I hear.
They who speak strangely to me
are not only ones who disagree.
Fighting the urge to lash back,
my heart gets way off track.
Wherever these words do adrift,
are those I don't argue with.
Making the stand for things right,
I am resiliant and do not fight.
