 ROLLING THUNDER
Far away in the distance I can
see dark clouds moving in.
Hear alas, afar the groaning
of rolling thunder as it creeps.
Louder in muffled waves upon
a tired horizon I lay and hear.
What seems to go on forever with
layers upon layers of sound.
Mostly without lightening or rain,
sounds of rolling thunder abound.
Strangely soothing upon the ear.
Lightly moving away as it came in.
