COMMON BOND
Good friends are hard to come by.
That's why I consider you mine.
Common bonds are hard to break.
With this make no mistake.
Whether near or if it's far,
those I talk to know confidence.
I don't have to come to my defense,
knowing what's up is comforting.
Sometimes it is kindred hearts,
at other times it's instinct.
At these we know well why.
Common bonds can be indefinite.
