Sin Not
If we have been sacrificed,
Then we would have died with Christ;
And with Him we too shall live,
Through salvation He does give.
We know that Christ had returned,
Back to life as we have learned;
And shall never die again,
Going as He had once been.
Death no longer has control,
Nor power for such a role;
And causing of so much grief,
To those with a firm belief.
For He died once and for all,
Of the sins He took the fall;
But with the Father He lives,
And our sins He forgives.
But you are dead deep within,
If your power comes from sin;
How can you be serving God,
When sin you honor and laud.
If sin rules a body part,
Then it can access the heart;
And lust takes over the mind,
So to God you become blind.
Never let sin rule your life,
Their desire causes strife;
It will surely make you stray,
If you just trust and obey.
