THE ARTIST
The canvas waits with anticipation.
Colors adorn the pallet.
Then the paint brush sets poised.
Visions in the mind of the artist.
The first brushstroke touches,
so promptly intentioned.
Hues and tones are brought forth,
Like a strong, yet gentle affair.
The artist, he studies carefully and
his mind meets the hand.
Master of all that is not a task.
