Asking God
Come quick and rescue me,
All the problems that be;
Come quick and render aid,
For I am real afraid.
Let those who seek my life,
Experience the same strife;
Leaving me so confused,
That I felt so abused.
Please make them so ashamed,
For as I had proclaimed;
Your Gospel as the Christ,
When You were sacrificed.
Those who want my failure,
Need a new behavior;
Learn of shame and disgrace,
Rather than sour face.
But those who do seek You,
Give them insight to view;
To be glad and rejoice,
For uplifting of voice.
Let those who show their love,
Shown favor from above;
For the jubilation,
Coming from salvation.
I am crushed and in need,
For You to come indeed;
Who I trust and obey,
So please do not delay.
