Life In My Eyes

I disdain this sentiment that sits like a black mole.
Let my heart not weep but be impervious.
Let my memories fade and you be anonymous to my world.
Let my tears be dry and hands reach not.
I invite this venom in me, though I'm immune to its symptoms, it poisons my victims, leaving me lost.
Let my thoughts be liquored and my desires become sinful.
Let my hopes be buried and dream it not.
I escape this vulnerable feeling with a ticket in hand and baggage left behind, for myself i search not but for what i lost my heart is drenching me with memories.
Let my body move, heart not beat and mind not speak, go forward to a senseless decision, to an unsure future as my dreams are put on hold, Run!
Let Go?
