I awoke this morning feeling sad
Nothings going right and that's bad
But then my thoughts turned to God
And all of sudden my heart was glad.
When problems come and we feel like we want to give up
All we have to do is just think of him and really pray
Give it some time and then pray some more during the day
'Cause sooner or later again the light will shine on you.
But meanwhile do not despair but please seek the Lord above
Because He's always there for you and me with all his love.
No matter what seek him out and in His divine protection abide
Jesus is the Light we all need and he's always at our side.
When you look up to him and seek him out, he'll be your shield
He's the only one who can save your soul and with chaste truth guide.
