Neglecting the Message
We must pay closer attention,
To the word and its intention;
As to not be drifting away,
Causing us for going astray.
The message that the angels brought,
As the same that the Scriptures got;
So reliable and is true,
Being steadfast for each of you.
Contempt is a violation,
And is an abomination;
That the Lord Himself does detest,
Like a disease that would infest.
An infestation of the heart,
That is unable to impart;
And if you let it be ignored,
Will not know the Word of the Lord.
Punishment you cannot escape,
Merely like a spiritual rape;
That you have committed a crime,
And you will have to do the time.
His justice has no leniency,
And lasts for an eternity;
Having no possible parole,
For releasing your very soul.
But God has action in His plan,
As through His Son the Son of Man;
That if you confess and believe,
Then He will bless and you receive.
You crowned with glory and respect,
None of His words never reject;
Everything in His control,
Taking the helm within your soul.
