I received a phone call on Friday
From a new employment agency I applied for document processor Seeking to get a foot in the door Impressed with my work history I will be meeting her on Monday She has jobs for accounts payable I let her know that I am available Skills testing sent to my email For Microsoft Word and Excel I know I will meet expectations She also sent online application My background is in purchasing But I do have some AP training She wants to give me a chance Even without work experience This news came after a bad week When both my agencies I did seek Asking about entry level temp AP They would not even listen to me One agency did not return my call The other sent her reply by email Wanted background and experience Isn't that the entry level difference God knew I needed this extra boost I was to the point of what is the use Applications that I submitted online I did not hear from most of the time Lord, You provided this opportunity Seeing my despair and vulnerability May this path lead to the open door For the job which You have in store © Carol S. 6/3/11 Vote for this poem
