Molly Girl
Molly, in to our lives you came,
A quirky little girl.
So full of boundless energy-
A rare and priceless pearl
Our love for you grew by the day-
You sneaked in to our hearts.
Never did we ever dream
So soon we'd have to part.
So let us thank you, Molly girl-
For all you've been to us-
The joy you brought in to our lives-
The unconditional love!
Laughter that so freely flowed
Like music from our hearts-
Smiling at your antics
As you frolicked in the park.
An eager look upon your face
When ball in hand we came.
Tossing it for hours on end-
LOVING-- how you loved that game!
Our princess warrior, Molly-
You would charge in to the bay!
Fighting evil Taliban-
Another game we played.
So thank you, pretty little girl
For all the love you gave-
The laughter, joy, and smiles
That lit up every day!
We love you, little Molly girl
And this shall always be.
Your paw print etched upon our hearts-
For all eternity!
