The Tall and The Small (Personal Poem) 6/11/11

Wedding Poem:  Notes where they met, their pet names for each other, their own special lingo, their difference in height, their song; ‘The Big Green Tractor', private joke about wooden Indian, wedding date, their devotion to God and their desire to have kids.

   The Tall and The Small

Their friendship sparked back in high school –
Baby Spice thought Turkey Samwich was really cool.
A few years later their friendship ignited –
A lifetime love would not be unrequited.

Nobody else can really understand
Their language of love, their own special brand.
And if you wanna see Baby Spice giggle –
Watch Turkey Samwich do his ‘Tryin' on Clothes' wiggle.

Here and now it's time for the Tall and the Small
To speak their vows and perfect their nuptial.
Their ‘Big Green Tractor' is ready to ride
As Joshua makes Maria his blushing bride.

June the eighteenth of two thousand eleven
We'll rejoice as their union is bound in heaven.
Maybe after nine months we'll all see –
Yep! A Wooden Indian carved from a tree!!

Be blessed with the bounty He has in store
Plus lots of kids that we can all mentor!
Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Daniel Teige forevermore
Always keep your Faith in God your central core!
