Isolationism

We're hemmed in surrounded,
packed tight, travelling en-mass.
No one's speaking or reaching out.
We're living in a bubble,
cast out, ignored, we don't share our thoughts

People all around, we're apart
living in our oneness.
Want to speak, can't speak.
Society won't accept we're a community.

Then I reach out, hello I'm John.
Signing to me a name Angelo
Made deaf by companies'  machinery,
destroyed my hearing, commerce ruined me.

Left me living in isolation.
And "we the people"
have to accept we are living in isolationism.
