I will chalk
On the streets
Until the red
Is as red
As the passion
In my blood
Streaming
From my finger tips.
I will post today's
“Cuteness on crack”
To make you laugh
So hard you cry
To keep you
From all the rest
Of the pain.
I will write
Today's poem
Just in case
It might help
You from
Cutting your wrists
Or leaving this world
Thinking
No one gives
A d@mn.
I will be
The change
I want to see in
This world
And take it
A step further
By being the Love
I want to see
In this world
As well.
I will listen
To the Divine
In each next moment
To try and do
The right thing
For all of us…
Because there
Is too much
At stake,
My survival
And yours
And those
Who come
After us.
