 Take It Back
Little laughs I can recall
Small smiles fill the space
But it doesn't change the picture at all
No I still see it blank

Anniversaries of wine and love
Falls so easily like broken glass
I can taste the blood we both shared
So sweet and bitter the past

Like a moment of truth ringing
Reality was brought to my attention
That you and I aren't meant to be
We are just too... different

So many times I've cried
Over the backside of this picture
Afraid that if I see your face
My mind will work back

I see an angel taking me home
It's okay the pain was too much
I couldn't help but smile
As I felt our lips touch

Not the same at all
Paths aren't meant to cross
I don't care what they think
You can win this round
And I'll be glad to take the loss
