Stupid Cupid
What once was whole is whole no longer
Cupid shot his little arrow, but shattered my heart.
He shattered it into a tiny million pieces
So many pieces that some were lost
Never would I be able to pick up all the pieces
& make my heart whole once more.
Then the day I saw you, Cupid tried again.
"Please, Cupid" I shouted, "Not again".
Then you showed me something
Something I thought wasn't possible
You helped me find the missing pieces
The missing pieces of my heart
You showed me what real love is
& that you are all not the same
Thank you my dearest Cupid
You didn't fail me this time.
