 291. Weeds & People
(Word Heart provided by Derik D. and picked by Mercedes K. on the bus)

He lost his arms
But had his legs.
Another man lost
His legs
But had his arms.
Neither
Could imagine
How the other
Could live
Without
What he
Himself
Had.

She was
In a car
Accident
And was
Told she
Would never
Walk again
And she did.
Until the
Second accident…
A single mom
With two boys…
The Dr's said
“You'll never
walk again…”
Despite them
In spite of them,
She did.
Not just once,
But twice.

The world is
Full of flowers
And weeds…
And People
Too…
The difference?
Weeds have
The will to live,
People too,
But the ones
Who thrive against
All odds…
They have Heart.
