Subversive nursery rhyme
I know time is fleeting
And oh how revealing
Underneath the glory
of the Sun
Undercover of the Moon
The stars have a shine
All their own
So let them glitter
Off the past and remark
Upon their beauty
And still care that although
Hearts may break and fools
Have needs and the willow
branches will always surrender
