In The Grave And After Life
When I said "I promise"
I meant what I said
So they can raise a knife to my throat
And a gun to my head
I won't unleash what was mentioned
It is now a reason
To why I feel wanted
To see the coming of the seasons

They can kick dirt on my grave
Rip the flowers apart
Karma is poison
That strikes the heart
So when they are of old age
And think they are alone in the dark
I'm waiting in the corner
My promise stronger than they are

Do not feel sorrow
No do not cry a river
I made a promise
I shall never deliver
It is locked away in the soul
I used to bare
Now it is safe
Far from fear

Even if I am dead
The promise is still alive
And forever with my soul
In the grave and after life
Sleep well and dream
Of a world unknown
Maybe I'll see you there
If you dream me home
