Society
Do you think that today, those comprising the society?
Are sleeping on the job, or quite frankly shirking responsibility
Focusing on material acquiring, the problems they do ignore
No one is caring, or is their brother's keeper anymore.
Take for instance, as team was severely beaten in a game
All other things, but themselves will be apportioned the blame
Never would admit the they did not collectively played competitively
But would even say it's because of one bad call by the referee
Today we can see some startling deteriorating behavioral signs
Perhaps that is the product of changes in the times
But the experts found a reason for it quite early
That happens because there are lots of single parent families.
It is also how many prisons can see a high membership of recidivists
Because there is comfort, and punishments are now like slaps on the wrists
There too, they can enjoy all amenities, living so very comfortable
Sometimes it seems as though the victims were the ones casing the trouble.
But still, in some cases some people are still subjected to scorn
And this is dependent on which side of the street you were born
Will sit back watching your progress, and the way you react
But will do nothing to help assist in derailing that tract.
Now there are gangs and the converts, test for initiation
It to perpetrate sometime a debasing crime on a person
The victim now being subjected to such a form of humiliation
Will later be ridiculed, in the society, and the court's dominion
Sometimes it may seem hard when someone says “it's none of my business”
But trying to help may put that person in a very sorry mess
And therefore whilst trying to be that Good Samaritan
You may imposed on yourself a series of very troublesome burden.
