THOUGHTS OF HAWAI'I (with slideshow)

Fragrant breeze
breath of the islands…
carried on the spirit of
a thousand dreams
to my awakening senses;
fill my soul with the flowers'
blooming, precious perfume

Sonorous surf
symphony of the islands…
whispering softly on the
nocturnal tide, a lullabye,
then pounding the shore;
rhythms of my beating heart
join the music of the waves

Glistening sun
splendor of the islands…
warm bosom of a mother
nurturing sand, sky, and sea,
she kisses each one in turn;
rays of light that caress the skin,
bring happy smiles to her children

…and she is called…Hawai'i
