AT THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE (5-7-5/ Tanka)

(5-7-5/Tanka)
An elderly man
goes into doctor's office
for physical
after a while the
doctor comes out and then says
sorry Bill but we
discovered you have
a condition which only
allows you to live
another 6 weeks
"but doctor" Bill replied,"I
really feel great
haven't felt better
in years,this just can't be true,
anything I can do?
Doctor just thought for
a moment and said to Bill
well, you might start by
going down the street
to that new "Health Spa" and take
a mud bath each day
Excitedly Bill
Asked,"And that will cure me Doc?
"No" Replied the doc,
after a little while, but,
it'll get you used to the dirt.
