Poetic Verses
Osama and Obama
In this decade, there were two names
The owner of one of them, at a stage brought pains
The names of both gentlemen ended with a similar sound
And both of them someday, though differently were fame abound
One's ascendency brought a change of some sort to a nation
A country, whose leadership was always represented by certain pigmentation,
It was emotional to seem many of his races, wept openly as it seems
That something was unfolding, that they thought would have be only a dream
This other person on a particular day spread such horror and terror
Did not care who is dead, maim, and had no particular hour
A particular strike was deemed a black day in a country's history
As he brought death and destruction, to a very famous city
Whose slogan was that of instituting some change?
In some cases, he had to face his opponent's exchange
Everything proposed met with some strong political opposition
But he understands the rights of those in a Democratic nation.
So we are looking at the names of two very powerful persons
One of them is the leader of a very powerful nation
Whilst the other contrasting was deemed a dangerous man
Who was involved in many of the exploits of the Taliban?
Here we have two men whose ideologies were maybe different
Their names ended similar same number of letters, but differed by a consonant
Both made headlines but in contrasting ways this era
Many in some ways will remember Osama and shiver, we still have Obama
