To My Rescue
On open heart lay beating
To say just how I feel
I see your smiling face
And I know I am real
Even if I'm empty
I'll look around again
I will hold you closely
And I will call you friend
Does it always happen?
Not with great fanfare
You've come to my rescue
Now I know you're there
If I had a dollar
For every tear I've shed
I could be inspired
Instead of being dead
So I will now stumble
Loosening up my mind
I will once again
See you in summertime
Only if you want me
I will come along
Listen to the wind blow
At last there'll be no wrong
