You're on my mind
I watch my world go by
I let it go without a try.
It seems like only yesterday
All that was, came my way.
Even though life's so fast
I'll never let a moment pass.
That you're not on my mind
And all our memories so fine.
Happily I grasp the fact
I've time for looking back.
To see all that I can see
All those beautiful memories.
But I'm looking forward too
Continuing to be with you.
As a friend and even more
Because that's what friends are for.
If you need for anything
All you do is give me a ring.
And if you are feeling blue
I'll be here to help you through.
I think we've touched a special time
We've had a meeting of the minds.
I'll help you, there is no end
Just because you are my friend.
