Up all night
Words dancing around my head
As I lie here in my bed
I hear the screaming all around
Making my life one big frown
I am pinned here on this Earth
As I search for what I'm worth
I swear this is so very small
Makes me feel two foot tall
So I see the morning light
I have made it one more night
The TV is blazing away
I don't listen to what they say
The wind is blowing very hard
Stirs the leaves out in the yard
Traffic speeding to a crawl
People walking in the hall
To their jobs they do speed
Making money they think they need
All of this makes me so sad
While it's driving me so mad
Words dancing around my head
As I lie here in my bed
