Always giving to someone else
Placing your own needs on a shelf
You write for others with your heart
And in His love, do words impart
With sentiment so deep and true
You pen the comfort given to you
With spirit true, God's solace you share
Through poetry you show you care
A vessel you are for Him to show
He is the One all need to know
Rich blessings you pour out in words
See to it that His voice is heard
Reaching out to lend your hand
Across the miles to many lands
Never accepting praise or thanks
Rewards in heaven are what you bank
And so today my Christian friend
A write for you, your soul to mend
To show you that you're loved today
By us, and by God, in every way!
