I Confess
I'm a liar, and a fraud,
As I stand before God,
Not knowing if I'll live or die.
With all my evilness,
On my knees I'll confess,
Asking for strength so I'll survive.
I feel Him touch me,
Eyes wide. I can see,
He stands me, and brushes me off.
Coated with forgiveness,
He said just do your best,
He lifts me holding me aloft.
Gentle I flew away,
To try another day,
I have my strength renewed.
He Whispers my ear,
Just what I need to hear,
I'll always be here for you.
I Confess
