 Train Wreck Waiting To Happen

She was virago vicious, she was termagant tough
Landing a blow to my ego almost every day
How often I piteously cried out "Hold, enough"!
But these kinds of creatures seem to never go away....

From bad things to nightmares and some things worse
Even my dreams offered no way of escaping her
I suffered beneath her most virulent curse
That's my life folks, the one I daily endure....

You should see the fur fly when she wants her way
Already she goes where she pleases both day and night
She unsheaths fangs and claws when she wants to play
And her idea of playing always ends up in a fight....

Sometimes a person reaches the end of their rope
Finally they do the right thing, fortunately
She was more than I could handle, I ran out of hope
I traded her in for a dog...cats just aren't for me!
