Carbon Copies

Carbon copies all the same,
Printed up without a name.
Never to be seen as one,
Bearing burdens by the tons.

Grown ups act just like a fool,
Forget about the golden rule.
Treat each other evil, mean,
This is all the children seen.

Don't these foolish people see,
All the things they cause to be.
Don't they know just what they do?
Making heartaches to live thru.

Children grow and they must live,
They must learn to love and give.
But when their faith in adults burns,
They don't know which way to turn.

Poor child never smile wait awhile
Bend and bow hearts too tile to wait a while.
