Our Duty

How often do you take the world for granted, forgetting seemingly
That it is a place that depicted such a great degree of beauty
As human being it's our home, so we are charged with that duty
Of maintaining it in a state, that was could live happily.

But do we often take time, to look around and appreciate
That pulchritude that our vision often therefore intake
At this we should give praise to the creator and master
Who gave that sense of sight, to observe such a matter?

Then cast those eyes to the flowers and verdant trees
The many colors of species of birds and the variety of bees
And those animals surviving and multiplying, so adapt
To whatever changes that are occur ring in that habitat.

Take a look at the mountain chain in the distance, such magnificence
So amazing that they certainly hold the attention, every instance
Making the pulse race at such a very rapid rate
It's so amazing the feeling such sight can initiate.

Take a look at the horizon, reflecting the colorful glow of the morning sun
That spectral color of the fish on the reefs, and the tranquility of the depth of the ocean
Dropping too many thousands of feet, like a mountain in reverse. So breathtaking
With its mystery still to unfold and another universe that needs revealing.

But man the person whom got entrusted this plan
Giving him all the tools to cultivate and embellish this land
there will be so much beauty, if there was such peace and unity
Buy greed and selfishness, has contrived to make it so ugly.
