Wishful Thinking
Where have all the people gone,
There's no one else around.
I'm looking for someone to hold,
As I sit upon the ground.
I'll whisper something sweet,
I'm sure will make her smile.
Once she gets to know me,
Maybe she'll stay awhile.
We can build some memories,
The ones you hold so close.
We'll drink wine for sometime,
Each one will give a toast.
But for me I'm feeling sad,
Things are not what they seem.
I fell asleep upon the ground
This all was just a dream
