Just a beautiful canary in a gilded cage;
Placed on display; perfectly pretty.
Waiting… patiently waiting
For that moment… freedom.
Escape into the darkness without fear;
Seeking the sensual, the thrilling.
Wanting to experience, and to be experienced;
Not looking back… freedom.
Hair blown by the winds of the road;
Tight jeans and a big warm smile.
Thunder rolls, excitement tingles;
Into the night's horizon… freedom.
Come all that is wild and fresh;
Embrace the moment; suck the sweet nectar.
Leaving the past in the past;
Open to life, to love… freedom.
