 SAD HOUSE
Stately it stood and in
it's day so grandeur.
Neglected and decrepit
it lost it's allure.
Making a strong statement
before it's downfall.
Ever so gradual and
did find it's pitfall.
Those who've neglected we
did solemnly scorn.
Sad houses were many
because of forlorn.
Take it and make it
Oh, newly arrived.
It can recant with
your help to survive.
