Sanctification
Since Jesus Christ is our Lord,
Keep showing that He is adored;
Memorize His words in your heart,
Reciting them as you impart.
Even though in the midst of strife,
Excel in a God pleasing life;
With more than you already do,
Now each and every day through.
Do this the way that you were taught,
Through the answers that you have sought;
The orders given in the Word,
Follow them just as you have heard.
It is His will you keep away,
From temptation that makes you stray;
Especially sexual sin,
That blocks your devotions within.
You should know that finding a spouse,
Is somewhat like choosing a house;
But in a honorable way,
Keep together as you turn gray.
Not being a passionate lust,
But a form of a bonded trust;
Not immoral but as holy,
A mate for honoring lowly.
Reject the ways of Hollywood,
And do as Scripture says you should;
God gave you sanctification,
So abstain from fornication.
