 Yes I Would

We all do our very best to speak with lucidity,
Generally approaching big words with timidity.
The Engish language is not one of rigidity.
It seems to change the meanings of words every day...

Would you walk the musty hallways of the school of life again?
Would you wish to learn once more everything you know now?
I may not know where I am going but I know where I have been.
And having stumbled through life this far, I often wonder how....

Mathematics is a language of absolute precision,
'Tho higher math is often scoffed at with derision.
All the rules are set and need no further revision,
And difficult enough to turn one's hair to gray....

Would I go back to one plus one in my earliest days of school;
Get up early and get dressed to play the fool among my peers,
Back to the days of ignorance placed upon the dunce's stool.
Yes I would!  And greet each morning with three cheers!!!
