Oh Human

Some take that time and efforts and energy to readily
Place obstacles to restrict the progress of somebody
But seem to forget in those moments of scheming and plotting
That they can be also victims of what they are creating?

Why do people let hate make them so ugly
When they can see and should appreciate life's boundless beauty
So deeply entrenched in and has permeated that mind
That nothing else would be ever given a place or time.

For instance, look what it did that man called Haman
His arrogance, then his hate for another race of human
Was such that he thought his clout would get this person hung
But he turned out to be the guinea pig when all was said and done.

Yet people still continue to haul such boulders up life's hill
Quite ignoring that they too are in potential danger as well
Because as they struggle with such weight, one slip and it may roll down
Pulling them down may get entangled and smothered as it moves along.

This sort of attitude will somehow never be on the down side
Because as people and races will never put that difference aside
As some in their mind it is tethered that they are so much better
And so such is perpetuated by the teaching of one's culture.

In some place some people are made to look like out cast
As they are stereotype because of their perceived caste
Are relegated to perform some very menial tasks
Why has human being created such a morass?
