WHATEVER

WHATEVER

Tomorrow is another day.
It's not that far away.

Let's linger here in this comfy room.
We shall watch today slip quietly away.

Sitting thinking upon days long past.
They to, like tomorrow not, to far past.

As I ponder upon those times I know
They aren't really long ago.

The energy of yesterday
 has flown swiftly away.

The breath I take wheezes in and out.
Today I couldn't raise a shout.

Those days of long ago, best left alone.
I'll just get up, go to bed, and dream.

Tomorrow if it happens by I'll wheeze
A shout giving thanks for one more day.
